In Kenya, nine women lose their lives daily due to cervical cancer, a disease that is entirely preventable and treatable.

Our mission is to raise awareness about the prevention and treatment options available for this cancer.

Cervical cancer is often feared and avoided, but it’s crucial to understand that it’s among the most preventable and treatable forms of cancer. Caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), which is sexually transmitted, simple precautions like using protection can significantly reduce the risk of HPV infections leading to cervical cancer.

Introducing Salome Kwenda, a cervical cancer survivor and the passionate ambassador of the Her Reason For Being campaign.

Salome, affectionately known as Sal, is dedicated to advocating for cancer patients’ rights and ensuring access to quality care for all.

Having overcome multiple cancer battles herself, she has committed her life to the #HerReasonForBeing cause, striving to ensure no woman is left behind.

Through her compelling story, Sally aims to inform, inspire, and engage everyone in the fight against cervical cancer.
